This handmade serving board is made of solid Oak. This is one of our favourites here! When we are at artisan fairs everyone who sees this board runs their hands over it and remarks about the smooth finish and how beautiful this oak grain is.

Perfect as a cheeseboard, breadboard, or serving some antipasti, whatever is on the menu! This is a large board, and so is pretty heavy- it’s around 1.5KG.

There is a circular hole on one end to put your thumb through when moving the board to the table, or passing the board around guests at a dinner party. Gentle rounded over corners on both sides give that softer feel and look.

Due to the fact that there is food contact all products used to seal this are complete food safe. (We use a blend of food safe mineral oil and beeswax and give multiple coats before completion). If you are allergic to beeswax, just let us know in your order.

This is easy to maintain, like any other quality wooden kitchen products- give it a coat of "Butchers Block Oil" or other food safe oil every once in a while to seal it and keep it looking beautiful. We will give you a “Care Sheet” with your order, so that this can look beautiful for years to come.
